Our Purpose

The purpose of the System Improvement Leads project is to work collaboratively within the California System of Support to build capacity in the areas of continuous improvement, data best practices, and high-leverage change ideas.  These foundational processes ground organizations in system alignment and coherence, ultimately resulting in meaningful, sustainable improvement in outcomes for students with disabilities.

Our Theory of Action provides a general roadmap that shows how we transform efforts into impact. Explore each element to see how our partnerships and strategies work together to support improved outcomes for students with disabilities.

If we build
partnerships with:
  • County Offices of Education
  • SELPAs
  • LEAs (Districts and Charters)
  • System of Support Lead Agencies
  • CDE
  • CCEE
And build capacity
in the areas of:
  • Data best practices
  • Continuous improvement cultures, methodologies, and mindsets
  • Access to resources and support to implement high-impact change ideas
Then:

Students with disabilities will have access to cohesive and equitable school systems intentionally designed to provide high quality instruction and supports
Which will:

Result in educational and post-secondary success
